Hyperbole......Steve Ensminger, Joe Burrow, La'mar Chase, Terrance Marshall, Justin Jefferson, the best line in college football all contributed to make the 2019 season one for the ages. Brady was a big part of it......but just a part of it.

I know one thing, even if he isn’t that great at recruiting, the way he enhanced the careers of JC, JJ and TM within his system, that would recruit WR’s by itself. Getting highly ranked WR’s were a problem for BK at ND, problem solved.

If you wouldn’t be a fan of this hire you are out of your mind. This man singlehandedly brought our offense from 1990 to 2050. Did he have great players? Absolutely. But those great players were playing in that 1990 offense the year before and didn’t produce. The man is responsible for the most important change to LSU football on that side of the ball. He showed us what could be done with the talent LSU brings in.

This man would be a home run hire. If BK would rather run the offenses he’s ran in Notre dame over the unstoppable offense that Brady ran then LSU is in trouble. I really hope we don’t miss this opportunity. The timing is so perfect that it almost feels like fate.
I've never been a "one of us guy"

But man this guy learned his ideas and styles from the Saints and then made his name at LSU. Now he is fired at the exact time LSU is looking for a coordinator. Kelly has been a pro spread guy and Brady is a spread guy with NFL concepts.

If LSU gets Brady back this puts EVERYBODY on notice. I'm talking coaches, LSU players, transfer kids, and recruits.

Thought SWoody was trying to purge out all the old people from the past minus the couple guys they want to retain for recruiting.

Dude got fired in less than two years in big boy league. He is a position coach. He parlayed one year of success into mythological state of fanboy worship. He was a position coach three years ago. He can get work in the nfl.

I'm talking about your psychotic post in this thread? Guess you aren't good at reading either.

Not at all what happened? OC was filled with E, PCG was open and was the position available. Would've been the case with anyone they hired.

Once again, not reality.

Joe Brady, the guy who was fired from his FIRST ever OC job, is best available? I get we all like the guy and appreciate his work here in 2019, but please let’s try and be smarter.

7 downvotes for saying a guy that was just fired from his first OC job is not the best available. This board is really full of morons.

Kliff Kingsbury was fired from his first head coaching job and was deemed the best available by the Cardinals. They don't exactly look dumb.

Can he recruit?
I guess im in the center of the argument about him being a good OC or not. I think the jury is still out.

2019 had unreal talent but the play design, sequencing, and play selection was top notch...no matter who was executing it. He continuously called plays to exploit the defenses weaknesses. Luckily for him he had players that could execute it.

You don't put the best offense college football has ever seen on the field just because they are great players. The playmaker HAD to he good.

But as I've stated before, if you hire a guy for HC that has never been to Louisiana...youre staff HAS to be recruiter heavy. Like...every staff member. Especially when the whole reason said HC came here was to get the best players.

This whole thread is flemsy. Offense had 5 pro bowlers on it. Chicken could have been the damn OC. Joe Brady played himself and needs to go back where he started and get ig together.

Just something to think about

The Panthers have struggled offensively, with Brady’s offense not staying ahead of opposing defenses and/or its own tendencies and tells.

I wouldn't be mad at the hire, though I'm not opposed to fresh blood all around. Can he recruit though? That's a big part of the college game
