My favorite part of this story is listening to you guys act like you've invented the wheel. You realize we have a history with this guy, right?

We did this EXACT thing back in January of 2004 after Saban won his title here and he and Sexton subsequently bent LSU over the desk when flirting with the Chicago Bears job. When they wouldn't give him what he eventually got in South Beach, he decided he was in love with Baton Rouge, was going to be planting oak trees for his long stay here, etc.

I get that you guys are pleased you kept your guy, but don't allow your delusion to cloud the reality that the guy is not attached to you. It's a little sad that you think he is...

But hey...in your defense, we didn't believe it either when Michigan State fans followed Saban to LSU message boards back in 2000 to tell us what he was. We were special, we were a destination, etc.
