Jimbo making announcement makes sense

I suspect Woodward let Fisher know if it was not going to be him also and vice versa. This out of mutual professional respect. But the announcement Fisher made may be a sign that the choice has been made and accepted by someone.

Jimbo has made the same announcement all season. He had no interest. He actually loves his current gig. He was not interested in making life “easier” on himself as many of you believed. He wants to deliver a natty to A&M and is recruiting at that level.

Ok so let’s clear this up because you got it a little twisted…to disagree that recruiting, meaning “life” has been easier at lsu over a&m is just downright disgraceful. You guys have a very good class, but let’s not act like it’s some storied tradition that you guys have a better class than us. And look, I get it, everyone is all excited on your end for this class. But, I would pump the brakes. Until those players get on the field and perform to those little stars out beside their names, no one gets crowned national champs. Even so, sometimes they can all pan out and the stars just not align. So celebrate your class, enjoy the buzz. But he isn’t doing too damn hot or you guys wouldn’t already be looking forward to next year during this season. Many of us never wanted Jimbo, the jokes on y’all.

You literally are proving my point for me, thanks. All those ranking you are excited about, what do you guys have to show for it? Anything?? Didn’t think so, somewhere in those last 5 classes you put up, we got a championship out of that. Numbers and stars don’t mean shite buddy. But hey keep celebrating your next year’s recruiting class during this season. And be happy you are getting to keep Jimbo. I promise you we are happy we didn’t get him
