Stability = 9-3 or 10-2 record every year and a pretender, not contender, for the natty.

Exactly.

Completely uninspired to the point of near irrationality.

I’m not saying it’s a home run hire by any means. But who is?

If you don't have a homerun hire, don't pay homerun prices.

Pick Aranda (for intelligence, coaching, and strategy) or Napier (for recruiting or something. Still not sure why he has such shine) and be done with it.

I liked Aranda too btw. Just don’t know what transpired. Napier sounded riskier.

I think Napier is 100% riskier, especially after an "all recruiting, little coaching" hire like O. Too similar of a profile.

When Napier was on the airwaves selling himself to lsu fans I was out on him. That’s a salesman

If he were anything like Saban, he’s not on a streaming YouTube show begging to be hired

If it’s Jimbo then would be interesting to see what happened with Aranda. I wasn’t big on Franklin. Tucker was a hard sell to the LSU fan base and maybe a bit better than Napier. Jimbo was middle of the pack.

If Scott Woodward hires Jimbo with his shite for an offense, he deserves to be ran out of Baton Rouge. Only the Les Miles homers that love shitty offenses will love the hire.

Aranda should be the hire. He'd be here 20 years. You can always hire some dolts to help with recruiting. As others have said, winning cures all.

Of the likely choices, Aranda is the one.
