People who say this stuff drive me mad. When has Les Miles every been able to call an offense in a competent and rhythmic fashion? When has Les Miles ever been responsible for developing a position group in a way to continually churn out first round draft picks?

This is just laughable coming from a die hard O supporter. You support the guy who has no specialties, is a good recruiter, coaches with emotion, and embraces lsu, but somehow jimbo is les miles jr???

Look through the thread, it's been refuted 30 times...he is nothing like miles. Except for the top 5 recruiting classes.

JF knows the x's & o's better than LM.
JF can get and coach QB's.
With that said, what about ACC vs SEC?
When I think top SEC teams, 2-4 come to mind, all in the west.
Top ACC teams, just 2.
Recruiting?
How has JF done when going head to head vs Saban?
It won't improve at LSU.
IMO JF is a notch above LM. If he comes to LSU Saban will do what he does and crank it up a notch.
Not worth breaking the bank. Herman isn't worth it either, yet. I say this after reflecting on the SEC careers of other "top gun" coaches.
Meyer- held his own, in easier place now.
Petrino- will never know.
Malzahn- winner of loser leave town match.
Sumlin- #4 in playoff poll right now.
Mullens- pfft Miss St.
All the above coaches, along with others, from 2007 until now have combined for a whopping 12 SEC victories vs Saban's Tide.
Digest that.
Then chew on this.
The agents for all the precious top coaching candidates are saying, "show us the money and we will think about it."
Says a lot about what they think of their chances.
Until they prove otherwise, they all = LM.

to really succeed his offense needs great players in the skill positions and an NFL QB
It's more difficult to name a starting QB under Fisher in the past 12 years that didn't get drafted than it is to find one that did.
The top QBs and skill position players in the nation gravitate to Jimbo, because they know he'll get them to the show.
