I think a team like Wake Forest should try to hire him.

And there were only 15K people in their stadium this past Saturday, against an in-state rival, on a beautiful day.....

Dang. It was against Air Force though, who is dreadful. Still, not good.

Comparable to LSU/Arky, on a smaller stage of course. Arky is dreadful, yet LSU fans seemingly had a good showing, if not a sell out (didn't watch, just saw highlights).

There are 7 teams bowl eligible in that conference, but only 6 can go to a bowl. CSU's awful fanbase would be the reason they don't make a bowl if they get left out.

ETA: And I would feel real sorry for the players.

Yeah that would be a bummer for the players. Hopefully he can continue to build something there. Maybe the support would pick up.

They brought a good crowd to BDS this year. We had a good time with the ones we met. Very knowledgeable about their program and the realm of cfb.

Sounds like football is dying at CSU.

Coach McElwain taught me so much when I was at UA. Great guy, who really embraces his role coaching future coaches as well.
