Rich Rod to LSU.
Don't want. Don't care how he's doing at Arizona this season. I will never forgive him hanging his head down and crying after West Virginia lost that game.. That's not how any coach should ever act.. then he just left them in a hurry.

I think RichRod is a great coach, but it would be stupid for LSU to switch to a totally different program identity IMO.

quote:I don't think our roster is much different than what he wants. We have a good spread qb in Harris, we have buga who can catch well out of the back field and is a horse. Les has assembled a team that could easily be a power spread team and has deep threats. We just don't use the players like that, we jam them into a 1970 offense.

I know you guys aren't always crazy about Miles, but please don't send him away. He's a national treasure and the best thing to happen to football since the forward pass.

He belongs at home in michigan
Honestly though I'm ok if he doesn't leave. If he stays I do want some changes though which would be letting cam have complete control this coming year. If the offense sucks again then fire cam. Next, Fire BDP, don't let him find another job to leave to, fire his fricking arse for sucking. Then, fire ensminger and bring in Julukes to replace him.
If he leaves LSU will be fine, we can find a good coach. Its somewhat risky but I don't want to make a UT mistake and let a coach hang on for too long.
IMO Alleva shouldn't give Miles a raise. If he wants to go then let him go, if he wants to be here then he will stay. We don't need to let sexton bend us over again for a bullshite raise

But you always run the risk of making a double UT mistake and really screwing up who you hire to replace the guy who was hanging on too long.
Still, LSU is heavily advantaged with recruiting territory where Tennessee did not have such a safety net. It would take more than Derek Dooley to wreck LSU, I imagine

Indeed, it could happen where we make multiple bad hires in a row. I don't think it is very likely. Our recruiting grounds make it pretty good for a bounce back when we hire a good coach.
Like I said though i wouldn't fire miles currently. I would let him walk though if he tries to get a raise. I don't see a reason for us to budge when we could take his salary and get someone else.

Let us remember that Gerry Freakin DiNardo had a 10 win season at LSU. Let that sink in. If you can recruit, you can win at least a moderate amount here
