If it’s a defensive guy as HC I really hope we get Grimes as an OC. Dude has really begun to show that losing him was not a great choice. He’s one of the better OCs out right now.

Yep. If Aranda gets the job I wouldn't be surprised to see him bring Grimes with him to LSU. Grimes did really well at BYU and has done a good job at Baylor.

I'm good with it. Let's see how Aranda does with the rest of his schedule. I wonder if Dave would want to come back to LSU? Have to imagine he would with new admin.

I'm leaning toward an offensive hire for HC, but I have so much respect for Aranda as a person, strategist and coach that I would be more than satisfied if he came back to LSU. You know that with him you have a guy that is organized, detailed, professional intelligent and not driven by ego. He would be an incredibly refreshing change as the face of LSU football.
