You guys act like Kelly is going to hire a guy who doesn't run his system.

Not gonna happen.

You really are strange man. Baylor is playing to the strength of their team this year, which is not airing the ball out.

Meanwhile the year prior at BYU:
quote:

During his tenure at BYU, Grimes developed BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, who threw for a career-high 3,692 passing yards, 33 touchdowns and 3 interceptions with a passer rating of 196.4 in 2020. That season, Grimes' offense ranked 3rd nationally in scoring offense (43.5 PPG) and was the leader in yards per play (7.84).

You know all this I'm pretty sure, and it's somehow related to your weird Orgeron obsession.

Why would he come to LSU when he wouldn't have full control? Unless Kelly is willing to relinquish control on his offense we're not getting a huge elite OC name.

A native of Garland, Texas, Grimes directed a high-powered offense at BYU in 2020 that finished its season ranked in the top 15 in 10 different statistical categories including scoring (3rd, 43.5 ppg), total offense (7th, 522.2 ypg) and passing offense (8th, 332.1 ppg).

Yes, definitely a Les Miles offense. I don't think Les ever even had 522 total yards in a game and I wouldn't doubt he had entire seasons without even throwing 332 passing total...

Okay definitely not that bad but he never average 332 passing. We probably had seasons where the QB averaged 100 yards passing.

So did this guy get hired for OC at LSU or is this just who OP wants? Too much information in OP to read through at the moment
