Jay got the short stick in taking the Redskins job, due to the front office, owner, and the terrible injury to Alex Smith. He never had a chance, once Smith went down.

If I recall correctly, his run game in Cincinnati wasn’t good either. I’m pretty sure they were under 4.0 ypc each season he was OC.
