We finished 2nd for a lot of people back then. Cregg coached the best Oline in the country in 2019. No it wasn’t all Burrow.. all those guys are on their 2nd contract in NFL. It was a dumb move by Scott Woodward to try to fire him for cause. I’m glad everyone is starting to slowly realize how bad Scott was.

Pretty obvious he was making a joke at their names sounding like they're transposed...

OM has been top 3 in the SEC is rush yards since Kiffin arrived in 2020. I trust those numbers.

Running the ball is much easier when the defense has to cover multiple receivers more than 5 yards downfield and cannot put 7 or 8 in the box on most plays. But, your point still stands, OM OL coach >> LSU OL coach.

Id have put joke in there somewhere. Cregg might think its a joke or not. Would be his decision.

I don't think he's enough of a difference maker to have an opinion on him either way. If he were that good, he wouldn't be an asst. OL coach.

I’m not a huge fan of Cregg, but he’s coached with Kiffin at three or four different places.

If Kiffin likes him, and is comfortable with him, then there is definitely a spot for him on this staff. There a lot of support roles for coaches these days.

The days of a single OL coach on a staff that has to both coach and recruit at an elite level are gone. If he can coach and develop linemen, then it’s a great hire. Other guys can recruit and evaluate.
