Stress free work environment at Penn State compared to Bama.
And before anyone says Franklin was fired, he lost 3 games to start the season. 10 win seasons at Penn State keep you very safe. Just dont lose to horrible programs like Northwestern and UCLA who was 0-4.

I think its pretty safe to say they botched the entire coaching search.

Yeah I agree. Manny Diaz makes sense for them. Was their defensive coordinator not long ago. Knows the area. I would expect it to be announced Sunday after the ACC championship.

Penn State really botched up their situation.
Next head coach will have zero talent contributing to the roster from 2026 class ….while his seniors and early grads are leaving which diminishes the talent in the current roster.
