Which is worrying me. Has anyone heard anything? I'm gonna go into full meltdown mode if Roof stays here another year.

Although it's looking more and more like Malzahn is staying, so that's a plus.

I hope Malzahn stays. TBH, I think his offenses are incredibly overrated. Cam Newton made his offense look a lot better than it actually is. A all-world player like that would make any coach look competent.

Yep, as long as the Bag Man is out shopping for another Cam, you'll be OK.

Gotta whiff sometimes. Those bank accounts gotta build up after that Newton payoff.

Well, I'm glad this thread is staying on track instead of turning into an ill-informed flamefest.

"Malzahn is nothing without Cam"... Oh, how easily 2009 is forgotten.

Thanks for Newton in fantasy football this year btw. He puts up almost 25 points in my league every week. Picked him up after week 1 on waivers. Boy was he the best chance I took this year...

Yea, he was a good QB for us. Malzahn has been a great OC for a while now I know you lack common college football knowledge tho.

I would be very unhappy should Roof be retained.

If Roof is going to be fired I expect Chizik to wait till after the bowl game. I really hope he is fired.

If Roof isn't fired, then I will personally put Chizik on the hot seat.

Gotta give Petrino credit, he saw a move was needed and pulled the trigger. I bet Chizik will keep Roof. If he does I bet he will regret it, it will come back to bite him. IMO Roof is not the only change that we need on that staff. Would like to see a change in the defensive secondary coach(s) and possibly take a long look at S&C.

No way we get rid of Yoxall. He's one of the best in the country.

Why would Chizik do that? I'd think he'd want to get the new DC in place so they could go through bowl practice/prep with the team.

JMHO, It's gonna be hard to fire a DC after y'all just won it all only 11 months ago.... I don't know how loyal Chizik/Jacobs are to their coaching staff though.

Yox?

I've always thought he was one of the best in the buisness. What's wrong with keeping him?
