As fans we need to show them who is really in charge . Wecanshow them really quickly by not buying LSU merchandise, and telling all the sponsors to just back away from the table until better management takes over. I’m tired of this crap show. Tired of Louisiana looking like dumb asses in everything we do .lets change that perception and change LSU leadership and get some people that know what winning can do

I hate to use Bama as an example, but that is a university committed to winning. From the administration on down to position coaches. Saban put in a QB that had very little experience to lead their team to a national championship. It’s truly sad to witness the state of the LSU football program.

The thing is, trying to save a few hundred thousand on a coordinator is going to cost Millions if our program keeps going downhill and people quit buying tickets and merchandise

I really don't think that's why we are getting SE. I don't think it's about the money. I truly believe it's the fact that JA and O are incapable of conducting a search for an OC. I don't think they know how the process works. I can see them sitting across a desk from each other for hours on end and finally saying, well shite, let's just promote SE. They don't know what to do or who to call. Totally inept.

A lot of wailing, whining and threats. Then I read "I support LSU no matter who the coach is". Therein lies the problem. If the idiots running this shitshow know they will collect the revenue from the fans that think this way, they have no incentive to take different actions than the piss poor "searches" Alleva'a done the past two years.

Fans need to vote with their money. Stay away from the games. Don't pay your TAF dues and extra assessments. Avoid the Alleva parking fees and horrible concessions. Take your skin out of the game until LSU shows some sort of commitment to excellence. (which won't happen with this Governor, University President or AD).

Empty seats alone don't cut it if they are already paid for. Let's see how many unhappy posters actually register their displeasure by voting with their wallets. I think the majority lack the fortitude to stay away.

Exactly what I mean the only way this stops is to avoid that shite show like the plaque. Money talks more than complaining on this board. I purposely have not gone to a game the last 4 years of LES FRICKING MILES TENURE because it had to be done . Now the whole administration needs to be gone along with a clean slate of coaches except for Dave and yes that men’s moffit also I guys look weak

They already gonna have a problem with the tax deduction going away. Add in a pissed fan base and a brutal schedule, this has the potential to go south fast.
Flip side is, every time something bad happens, this board is flooded with “no way we win more than 6 games” posts. And we win 9. Truest words I’ve read here in a while is that we aren’t in a decline, we’re at a plateau. This program can average 8 wins with just about anybody. As long as O can recruit, he’ll be close to that.

Except we'll be paying 2 OCs and a head coach who aren't even with us anymore plus the boost in salary for Aranda and presumably for Ensminger and Sullivan. It's way more about incompetence and laziness than money in my view

ETA: nevermind, misunderstood the thread title. My point stands though

Don't forget whatever we are paying our new elite offensive consultant that was O's kids' HS coach.

I love Steve, but he shouldn’t sniff $1 million. He hasn’t been an OC in 20 years and it’s not like anyone else is begging him to be their OC.

So, Steve should be in line for a huge buyout then.

Nope. Im done until LSU is purged. No more donations or season tix. Alleva has made the decision easy for me now. My priority points are plenty high enough to get back in later if they get their shite together which I highly doubt right now.
