Absolutely. One player doesn't determine the direction and success of a program for the next 10-15 years whereas the head coach for the most part does.

Yes. Obviously, nothing in the realm of LSU fandom compares to real life stress like job woes or sick children, but within the arena of passionate sports fanaticism, this is as agonizing as it gets.
I mean, we're talking about the difference between a coach who can win multiple titles and one who has never coached a bowl game.

I never get stressed out over recruiting. Kids change their mind a lot. And they don't know shite. And many get terrible advice from shitty people around them.
