Is this as good as the CC board will ever get?

Mid season LSU vacancy with an AD the fans trust so the discussion is largely positive, but because there’s such a lag on a hire we have time to hyper analyze literally every coach on the planet.
I just can’t imagine a scenario for the CCB that beats what we’ve got right now.
Once a coach is hired we’ll be locked in to their specific strengths and weaknesses, but for now there are so many possible outcomes we can project any and all best and worst case scenarios onto the next 5-10 years.

2016 was way more lit imo
Of course speculation was a little more cut and dry thanks to that clueless oaf Alleva

this search is way more wild as no one can really claim a front runner.

2016 seemed like everyday there was a new twist. It obviously was aided by O and Derek pulling strings behind the scenes getting certain talking heads to shill for them.
I feel like we’ve kinda plateaued already but I don’t doubt it’s gonna pick up the closer we get to December. Then I think we’ll surpass’16
