I agree . When we first hired Saban , people were probably scratching their heads a little . I think the new coach should 1) be a program builder 2) be a great recruiter 3) work well with coordinators 4) Be able to change schemes as the game of football evolves . If he can do these things , with the talent in this state , the sky is the limit . Saban will never admit it , but I think at times he regrets leaving LSU .

Kiffin who alot of people want said O is a great coach, so have many others. I never wanted O but maybe he was better than we think, maybe he knew how to win it all but just couldn't handle success, or maybe he knew he could never do that in a million years or who the F knows ? All I know is no matter who SW picks we will be very lucky to get another NC. I mean even Saban doesn't win it every year. Just think we could have won about -10 more with Nickster but the story has been told and personally I love every coach including Nick because we have had the greatest personalities in All Football,the country has loved us because of the grass taster, gumbo eater...so the most obvious choice for the next coach of Louisiana State is Mike Leach

I think the one that would be most accepted would be Aranda. I don't think there is anyone that could make the board "happy." Even Saban would piss off some.
