Sam Houston State seems to have a commitment to winning in football and baseball. Both are really good programs.

I called it out because the point was to belittle a team that would likely smoke UTEP if they played.

The Sam baseball coach is destined for bigger things soon. And there’s just a lot of talent in both sports in close proximity to Huntsville.

If it were a younger coach (Keeler is almost 60) I think you could land a better G5 gig than UTEP coming from Sam winning like they have.
