That's the idea but when you get 10mil a year those wins better come quick. Saban is good but look at this year: no guarantees.

So what is Texas going to do is Saban goes 8-4 the next 2 years? Fire him with what is likely a $50 million contract?

Baylor would give him fits. Probably TTech as well, his kryptonite is HUNH, that's why Malzahn had him curled up in the fetal position a couple of weeks back.

I think the Big 12 is the Bermuda Triangle for defense. Saban's M.O. is defense. No way he gets a Big 12 team to play defense just like that. Diaz crashed and burned. Guys Saban is going into something that is anything but a lock. Stoops had that initial run but look how difficult for him it has been in the Big 12. 10-2 is a lock but Natties? Pressure. Gumps are going to Gump because of this affair if he stays and Texas will be over a barrel if goes.
