Let's put it this way. If Urban HAD left after the Bama beatdown, he would be cleaner in this. He didn't leave and he dropped the ball at Florida. I don't see how anyone can say he didn't.
If Saban leaves Bama tomorrow, they should be in a solid state wouldn't you say? So if the new coach comes in and goes 6-6, you could point to the NEW coach. Meyer LEFT the UF program in the shape it is now. So that does fall on him.
You think he's a great coach. I do not. End of story, we disagree

If a coach came and put the spread in over there, I certainly would expect some growing pains. They overhauled the offense completely. I wouldnt just assume it was Saban's fault more than the new coach.
Look I get that Meyer is a dickhead of the highest order, and I certainly would pump my breaks over his condition, but he has kicked arse everywhere he went. Bowling Green, Utah had the most impressive non-AQ team I have ever seen, and won two titles in the toughest conference in America. I dont get why people thumb their nose at this guy.

IMO, I think he saw the writing on the wall the season after Tebow's Sr year. If it was that much about health he would have left when he first said he was stepping down. There was a huge drop in talent last year compared to the year before and I think Meyer was trying to get out because he knew it would take a few years to rebuild again so he wanted to leave to maintain his value in case a job closer to home became available.
That's just my take on it.
