If he is smart he better take the Michigan job if offered. Michigan doesn't toss coaches like used condoms. If it was me I would give all the bandwagon jumping LSU fans the finger on the way out the door.

Hey, I'm on your side...I think he's gotten a raw deal for years in Baton Rouge. Sad but true!

They have been running Carr out of town for a while now until he finally called it quits, and he won them a National Championship in 97.
BTW... of the past 10 LSU coaches, 3 left for greener pastures, or what they thought were greener pastures let's say, and if Miles leaves, that will be 4 out of 10. 3 of them resigned, so that makes only 3 that were fired since WWII. Compare that to the rest of the SEC schools and see what you come up with.

All this dream job crap is just that...crap..the man could have stayed at Okie St. and just waited Carr out. Hell, he knew 3 years ago that Carr was on borrowed time. Why the hell did we let him come here, knowing he was not going to stay for long. Fellas... the problem is in the Admin. office, and no where else...bottom line.

Check and see how many coaches Michigan has through the years, not many. Any coach we've had that was good enough to be offered other jobs has left, because a large portion of our fan base are morons and want to crucify the coach if he loses a few games.

I agree Im a coach and I know there is no dream jobs....Its hard to deal with the fans. Most fans have no ideal what it takes to win. They go to their little 9 to 5 job and sit there at lunch with their friends saying what they would do....I got 1 thing to tell all fans if u think u can do better goooo get a degree and go coach your on team it is not as easy as going to work from 9 to 5...PeAcE

Just like you think LSU is the pinnacle he thinks the same about Michigan.. Why did "we let him come" b/c NO ONE else wanted the job at the time remember ?

That doesn't mesh at all with my view of head football coaches. I don't think they are such shrinking violets as to be that afraid of fan criticisim or to consider it as crucifiction. I think they leave for more money, for greater challenges, for a program they have personal ties to or consider more prestigious, or a combination of these things.
