No thanks. He has made some terrible play calls this game.

I know nothing about this guy but there isn’t a coach on the planet who hasn’t made terrible play calls at some point in their career during a game.

He was with him at Grand Valley State as well. He took over when Kelly left and won several national championships there prior to teaming up with Kelly again at ND.

Why would he give up being the head coach of an FBS school to be an OC at an FBS school?

Dan Enos left a head coaching job at C Michigan to become OC at Arkansas, so it’s not entirely unprecedented.

LSU fan: we should hire coach /insert name here/, he would be a fantastic coach

Also LSU Fan: 15 years ago he made a questionable call, would be a terrible coach

LSU Fan: we should hire coach /insert name here/, he would be awesome

Also LSU Fan: he’s too old and players won’t relate to him, we should hire /insert name here/, instead

Also Also LSU fan: he doesn’t have enough coaching experience, would be a terrible hire.

That would even eliminate Lane Kiffin from any future hire as an OC baw.

Louisianans do the same thing with politicians too. They will vote against a guy who could be an economic policy genius for another guy because his mother was his 3rd grade teacher. Nepotism is why Louisiana will always be last in everything.
