Is Canada a lifelong OC

Like the chief? Or does he want to be a head coach. I know he has probably never said one way or the other, but I would imagine if he hadn't tried to get a hc job by now he might not be interested

Sounds like most on this board are going to be unhappy with the hire. They wanted someone who would be here for more than a year and received no interest in being a HC.

I'm sure he wants to be a head coach, but the way to do that at a quality institution is to do well in a prominent coordinator position.

I think he would stay 2-3 years to build the resume then look, same as Aranda. But man a lot of that just comes with striking when the irons hot-openings that come up, opportunities etc...
