He would leave but has to be the right job and would have to pay prolly 10 or 11 million as he made almost 8 last year.

I agree everybody has their price, but he sure seemed preachy about staying.

because unless its a top 5 maybe even top 10 job....he isnt leaving.

if michigan made right offer and had everything in line for NIL...he might leave

i dont think they are going that direction though

and he might have been preachy about it but been way way more preachy about Arizona state and lack of support, especially NIL support

Why is it so hard to believe that a guy who was born in Phoenix and attended ASU wants to be the coach at ASU and spurned any interest?

It’s the typical ‘iT Da SEc!!!111!1’ mentality.

What if Florida, Auburn, LSU etc all contacted his agent and asked if he would be interested in the job and the agent said no?

If I’m a big program I wouldn’t want it out that someone isn’t interested in my job….I mean look at the crap Tulane got for having the Kennesaw State coach pull his name from consideration.

They generally make A LOT more money and have a realistic opportunity to win a championship at big SEC and Big 10 programs.

Maybe keeping Arizona State relevant and the money they are paying him (which is still a lot obviously) is good enough for Dillingham. But most of these guys are crazy and always want more

It’s just as good as Silverfield, Golesh, and Sumrall all of whom got SEC jobs

"Just as good"? Maybe just as good as Golesh, and Golesh is unimpressive. Their HC records:

Silverfield: 50-25
Golesh: 23-15
Sumrall: 43-11
Dilly: 22-16

This is Dilly's offenses where he actually called plays:
2020 - Florida State - 3-6 - 93rd ranked offense
2021 - Florida State - 5-7 - 57th ranked offense
2022 - Oregon - 10-3 - 12th ranked offense
2023 - Arizona State - 3-9 - 124th ranked offense
2024 - Arizona State - 11-3 - 25th ranked offense
2025 - Arizona State - 8-4 - 88th ranked offense

Unimpressive. And last year, ASU came out on top of one of the worst Big12 seasons we've seen. Half the conference (8 teams!) didn't even make a bowl game.

Now, give me your lame excuses.
