You have to give the ISU AD a lot of credit here. That was fast and decisive and seems to be about the best they could have hoped for.

wouldnt be surprised to learn that Campbell gave him a headsup some time ago about the PSU deal to give him time to reach out to Rogers

if anything this year’s carousel has shown us is that there’s a ton of negotiations going on all the time that you don’t hear about and a lot of made-up bullshite covering it up

The AD must be a good partner to work with for a head coach as all of that was lined up quite nicely and evidences a lot of communication between Campbell and the AD.
