Next Year LSU plays
AT South Caroina and AT Florida

While Alabama plays AT Baton Rouge

So Steve would play at both his former teams while Saban would come here. Would make for interesting stories in the media.

Actually I heard Paul Dietzel is planning on coming out of retirement and taking the reigns next year.

How would UF complain? He's been gone for years and they just won a NC without him. USCe would be pissed, but they would have to understand.

Nope. Spurrier will be the same classless, arse he has always been. Never beat a team over which he didn't have an overpowering talent advantage. There's too much parity in the SEC for his magic to work again. Plus, his offense is 20+ years old. He can still coach QBs and WRs, but beyond that, he's middle of the pack.

I could turn our other conversation around and show you his numbers at Florida but I won't........because I agree with you.

Gator fans are fearing the thought of Spurrier coming here, but they think it would improve their chances of winning the SEC East.

The difference here is: I didn't say he was "mediocre" at Florida, I made some outrageous allegation that he "over-talented" other teams. Arguable, but not silly.

Also, glad to see we can disagree on some things and have the good sense to agree that SOS might have been a good choice even 6-7 years ago, but not in 2007.
