Fwiw, Im hearing Johnny is gone after the season and Stansbury is the guy. Stansbury is pushing hard for Shammond to get the job at Western Kentucky.

More proof Joe Alleva doesn't need to have any input on the next hire. Great job Joe -- fire a coach a year too late only to hire a guy no other power Conf. school wants. When was the last time an AD did something like that...oh, wait....

I have not heard anything close to this. Fwiw. If anything his contract is an issue with basketball not making money and it running through 2018. He has through the end of 2018. The key will be if his agent tries to get an extension and Alleva doesn't budge later this year. If we don't turn it around he will get shitcanned next year.

I can't see why anyone would renew their tickets if that were the case, the coaching is deplorable. As far stansbury, to hire him with so many other qualified candidates out there would be insanely idiotic.
