I keep reading where some people question his past and his personality and etc. I knew BeBe personally for several years in college and I will tell anyone that he is as genuine of a person as you will ever meet. If you are going to war (game) this is the ONE guy you want in your foxhole! If he decides to come here, no one will question his loyalty or his heart for LSU. This is one guy that lays it all on the line in everything he does.

FWIW ... I talked with a good friend of mine and his wife is first cousin's with O.
He said that O wants to be a DC and would not take a position that doesn't have that title, which obviously will be the case since Chavis is going to be the new DC.
We'll see.

If he is really wanting to be a DC, why would he go to TENN? Kiffin is going to be the DC. Seems like to me he doesn't have an offer for DC anywhere.

which may explain the rumors that he'd also have the title of Asst. Head Coach. I have a feeling that O has known what the deal is for quite some time. As BP suggested, is probably a matter of money at this point.
