It’s a bit of a rebuild now, and Kelly is absolutely perfect for this type of job.
The portal should make it quicker though, and Howard is an outstanding foundational piece to build on.
The schedule is pretty forgiving next year, for the most part, so I think NY6 is an attainable goal with a serious playoff run in 2023 as the next step.

Just look at Rattler to get a glimpse of what type of leader Riley is. He was the first kid Riley had at QB that wasn't a late career transfer. Think about it, he got Baker (transfer) while Stoops was in charge and only in Riley's first year as a head coach. He then had Murray and finally Hurts as a grad transfer senior. With Rattler last year and this he struggled.
The reason for Saban's success is his structure, not just the overwhelming talent. Guys like Riley and Kiffin are more about flash, which does not build programs. Just wait and see.

No, this isn’t the kind of money or coach to “give him 2-3 years”
We expect to win the SEC West next season, and Win the SEC and National Chip in two years. We have a real coach coaching and recruiting top shelf athletes.
