I’m in the minority but Mike Nolan could do well with Coach Raymond

Yeah I know he is a retread and got fired from the Cowboys but if Reeves, Schumann, Lukabu or any other young targets say no, I wouldn’t mind Nolan for a year or 2.
He is probably an NFL lifer but I don’t expect him to be anything more than a LB coach in the NFL for the next couple years.
I’ve mentioned him a few times that I think he could be good at LSU. He runs 3-4 and 4-3.
He fits in well with Raymond and Orgeron being a good Linebacker coach.
Short stint at LSU in the 80’s.
He is one of the few retread NFL coaches I wouldn’t hate.
I would prefer the other guys mentioned or John Heacock, even though he is old, but Nolan wouldn’t be a horrible fallback if he was interested.

My Dallas Cowboys had their worst defense since 2013 when it was last in the league.. coached by Rob Ryan. Nolan will not be a college DC at a major program

If LSU is in the market for someone older than Pelini, less able to connect to players than Pelini, less likeable than Pelini, and married to a more obsolete defensive mindset than Pelini, then Mike Nolan is the man.
