Makes all the sense in the world. I don't know if LSU will get him, but it would be surprising if he wasn't LSUs first choice. I'd be surprised if LSU hadn't made an offer by now. Jimbo is the ultimate safe hire for Alleva. If LSU gets anyone else, then it's bc Jimbo declined to come.

Jimbo and or his agent seems to be the best at throwing up last minute roadblocks to coaching contracts with LSU.
I would be happy with either Herman or Jimbo, though.
We shall see in a few days just who will be the next coach.

Well I'm not sure if that was the issue last year. And I don't have a clue what's happening this year, except we all know Sexton will get paid.
