As an interim head coach, Orgeron is 4-4 vs teams that finished the season or currently are above a .500 winning percentage.

Thank you for this. This should be posted every time some idiots posts his "interim HC" record and ignoring his time at Ole Miss.

if O had only one loss to Bama, he warranted an interview

I still would have thought that would have been short-sighted because of the goose egg to Bama but also that it wasn't the best we could do. The loss to Florida and how we stalled near the goal was too painful. Only way I would have wanted to keep O is if he made Saban is bitcch, but that didn't happen, nor did I ever expect it to.

So you're fed up with opinions that differ from yours? Then move. America is not for you.

You forgot to add that we only scored 10 points against a depleted Fla defense at home.

I liked how you had a Tennessee fan, Arkansas fan and Florida fan call in and support O for the full-time gig. That should tell you something.

O didn't lose it. LSU played to lose to derail the overwhelming support for Coach O....

There is no way the LSU defense is weaker than Arkansas' defense.....Florida should have never scored a single point in that game....

How many times was LSU in the Red zone and had it squandered away on sketchy plays....????

I can't prove any of this of course....but losing to Florida in our stadium after watching them play horribly all year should have never happened to An LSU team that gave up 10 to Bama...

Major programs don't fire their championship winning coach only to promote a defensive line coach. How is that working at Mizzou right now with Barry Odom?

I get your point, but Barry Odom was the defensive coordinator for Missouri.

Craig Kuligowski was the defensive line coach, and he's probably one of the three best position coaches for defensive linemen in the nation.

Sorry some have a different opinion than you. Should those who want Herman bash you for wanting Jimbo? See how that works?

we are approaching levels of craziness that will indeed allow a good melt when the hire is made (whoever it is)

I just hope it's not the reasonable among us who are melting when it's over. If it is O, there will be oceans of melt on TD. It will make 1/9/12 pale, and opposing fans will drink our tears down with a smile.

But.....An entire World Series was rigged 100 years ago, allegedly (and testimony from a felon however) the 2002 NBA WC Series, UNLV Duke 1991, 2001 AFC CG, Brett Favre's Monday Night specials (wonder if all of those INTS were accidents), several point shaving scandals in NCAA Basketball...Maybe.....:)

I'm fed up with anybody coming on here and saying there fed up. You're probably at least one of 3 or 4 dozen people to do it. He is not getting the job. DON'T WORRY.

Why O would have been a serious consideration makes sense only in the mind of the insane. The AD went through this last year. As such, if all they can produce is promoting the Dline coach, then what have they been doing since prior to the end of last season? This is no know on the man. He is a good recruiter and motivator, but as someone has said, what does he have to say about the offense?

Criminy! If LSU can do no better then maybe it needs to rethink its entire philosophy and forget about winning anything in the SEC. Let alone a natty.
