Orgeron hates Freeze. They do not have a good working relationship, as Freeze used to rat out Orgeron when they were both at Ole Miss. There's a reason Freeze was nicknamed "Snake".

This is a classic reason why I'm still not sold on Pruitt being a D1 head coach. Why would you bring in someone with all that baggage when you're trying to clean up the program?

If you want to beat Bama I'd hire Freeze.

Freeze has beaten Bama 2 years in a row before. How many coaches can say that?

the offense succeeds, folks will want Freeze to get the head job

Pruitt will have the defense playing well soon. If Freeze is hired and the offense succeeds, JP is getting an extension and raise, and Hugh is getting a HC job somewhere probably. I’m really curious to see in a couple years how toxic Freeze’s name will be when it comes to HC jobs.

I’ve tried telling LSU fans this, but most think because O gave HF his first college job, that they HAVE to be BFF. Little do they know, HF was forced on O.

UT hasnt been in "clean up" mode, in the way freeze would be a concern, since Dooley. Pruitt is in "fix up" mode.

Yall have to realize some men arent afraid of surrounding themselves with others that know more about certain things. Pruitt can handle the defense. He needs to get someone that can truly fix the O, and quick. 2-3 seasons, and HF can move on. If he's truly as good of an OC as people think he is then UT will be way better off than we are now. Just like kirby has uga. If it werent for chaney/pittman (perfect timing) uga would be good, but still "building".

Pruitt needs that offensive shot in the arm. Especially needs help on the OL since it's been crap since the Dooley/Chaney/Pittman yrs, so it needs a quick shot of something to help Pruitt survive the UT fanbase in a couple of yrs.

Would be an amazing hire by Tenn. They may beat VAndy again if they land Freeze...in a few years of course not immediately he can’t work miracles

That post reeks of subconscious fear.
