Do we hire Jason Garret as OC?

Why? If he was all that damn great he wouldn't be fired.

Why would he want to go to the college ranks. He could pick up another NFL job pretty easily.

garret will probably be an NFL head coach someday, don't think he coming to slum it as an OC at LSU.

If Wade gets fired, Garret will become head coach of the cowboys before they let him go too

Garret will probably stay on in Dallas as the new coordinator for the Cowboy's new head coach Les Miles.

HELL NO!!!!!!! And it's not "if" it's "when".

Garrett is very highly regarded in NFL circles as one of the brightest young minds in the game. He will land somewhere else in the NFL very quickly if the Cowboys let him go. If he were interested in coming to LSU, we would be crazy not to hire him.

Won't happen, Payton just signed a new contract and the Saints wouldn't let it happen. I was worried about it after 2006, but the Saints did the right thing and got him the extension at the beginning of last year.

Jason Garrett was Saban's first pick for Bama's OC his first year at Bama. He would be a good choice at any SEC school.

No, he had great resources with Dallas and hasn't produced top tier offenses.

Not anymore he's not. His offense is considered predictable and non performing except to gain yards between the twentys. Romo has not improved under him, there is no consistent run game, play calling is a hodge podge of plays with no real plan. No means to an end, no setting up of the next play and defenses constantly comment after games that they could tell which play was coming when the Cowboys lined up.

LSU already shelled out money and bonuses in extending Crowton's contract. </thread>
