He was able to pull Jimbo Fisher from FSU to Texas A&M...Jimbo had a NC at FSU

Mulkey was looking for an out after the confrontation with Livingstone and jumped for a really big raise to be closer to her aged mother.
That was 100% timing and a coach that was in a conflict with the Baylor President over the new arena location and naming issues.

Still say he freaked up giving Ogre the long extension that should have been 2 years shorter. NOBODY was ever going to hire Ogre even after the 2019 season.
And Jimbo was another throw out record breaking money to a coach that was starting to feel heat from a program headed in decline.
