Don't know about Vols but even if it was Saban or even Bear Bryant offering to come to UK, and we'd win 20 National titles, and they were in the same situation as Schiano, I wouldn't want him.
I didn't want motorcycle Bobby when we hired Stoops, I certainly wouldn't want someone that may have allowed pedophilia to ocurr.
This is bigger than sports or fairness. Schiano may be innocent but a chance should not be taken when there's even the possibility he may have allowed child rape to occur, as he has been accused of

Simple question. Same allegations out there against gruden. What happens?

Same allegations are out against Gruden? He never coaches another down of football in his life.

Gruden would have been drug through the dirt. Schiano benefitted from not being in the spotlight, being under meyer, and protected as he's at a media darling ohio state.

Here is what Mike McQueary's deposition testimony said as it relates to Schiano:

In the deposition, McQueary claims that when he told Bradley about what he had seen, Bradley was not shocked. McQueary claims that Bradley went on to tell him a story about a time Schiano had witnessed Sandusky abusing a child some time during the ‘90s:

Q: Did [Bradley] tell you that he had had information concerning Gerald Sandusky and children?

A: He said he knew of some things.

Q: And did he tell you what he knew of?

A: Yeah.

Q: What did he tell you?

A: He said another assistant coach had come to him in the early ‘90s about a very similar situation to mine, and he said that he had—someone had come to him as far back as early as the ‘80s about seeing Jerry Sandusky doing something with a boy.

Q: Did he identify who the other coaches were that had given him this information?

A: The one in the early ‘90s, yes.

Q: And who was that?

A: Greg Schiano.

Q: Greg Schiano?

A: Yes.

Q: And did he give you any details about what Coach Schiano had reported to him?

A: No, only that he had—I can’t remember if it was one night or one morning, but that Greg had come into his office white as a ghost and said he just say Jerry doing something to a boy in the shower. And that’s it. That’s all he ever told me.

Q: Did he tell you what, if anything, he had done about that?

A: No, he didn’t share with me.

Maybe the Tenn. AD should have gauged the fans interest before springing Schiano on them

Letting the fans have any say in whom the AD hires is a recipe for disaster.

bullshite. Fans will justify almost anything if it benefits their team. Just look a pen state's reaction.

Auburn and cam, ole miss and freeze, Carolina and Greg hardy, the wife beater for Kansas city and on and on.

bullshite. UT fans don't want Schiano. And I can certainly understand that. But don't try to sell us some virtue signaling garbage.

If we assume everything said in the depo is true, then we're left with double-hearsay allegations against Schiano. Allegations he has denied and there has been ZERO evidence to prove they are accurate. And the situation you have is a young GA just getting his start in college purportedly seeing an act performed by an established coach of a championship caliber program. He could have said nothing, knowing that saying something could forever torpedo his career before it ever starts. Instead, he allegedly tells his boss and his boss decides to do nothing.

I agree, but you can't just go from Gruden to Schiano and not expect shite to hit the fan from the fan base. Tenn. AD should have been more aware and should have come up with a better alternative. At least 1/2 or more of the LSU fan base were on board with O...I bet less than 10% of Vol fans are ok with Greg.

You know that you can't believe this then right? It's called hearsay and this is even hearsay to the second degree. It's not something he heard, or something he heard someone else say, it's something someone told him he thought he heard from someone

Also, you do know that McQueary made a ton of money off this lawsuit right? You can post these same lines of deposition testimony all you want, doesn't make it any more viable or legitimate

The "rage" at the Pedo State allegations is simply an excuse to deny a hire they don't like.

Did you even graduate 6th graduate? Your statement is so idiotic.
