you think Coach Miles will take the Michigan job if offered?

This is just a question. I'm not saying he should or shouldn't, that such a move is predicated on whether LSU beats or loses to ArKansas tonight and/or in whatever bowl game in which we play.

After reading a great piece (linked on TD.com's home page, I believe) and a few others, Mich. has the opportunity to not have to pay RR's full deal if it can "show cause." This stems from the pre-season alleged practice-time violations, and the lack of records regarding the charges is enough to meet that legal standard.

Now, Mich. would settle w/RR and ASAP (and they don't have to wait for the 2-A's ruling), but not be bound to pay the full amount in his contract. I know what Miles' buy-out is, and that he also would owe a modest payment to LSU if he goes to Mich., but these deals can be settled for much less (esp. if he takes another job).

We can rant until the sun explodes about how Miles' reputation has erroded, his SEC record getting worse, questionable DC and OC hires and other matters, but I doubt there are too many folks here that don't know he covets going back to Mich. at some point, even if he also loves LSU. But if RR is let go soon--maybe next week--Miles won't have the luxury of waiting to make a decision close to or after LSU's bowl game.

Bottom line: Do you think Miles would let an opportunity (he's still considered the best "Michigan Man" up there) pass by again, knowing he'd have to wait another 3-5 years or more, with no guarantee he'd be offered that job in the future?
