Its pretty simple, but most don't seem to get it. We aren't upset AT O. We are upset at ALLEVA. He really did a piss poor job in this search. O is the coach. The sun will rise tomorrow, and i will still be an LSU fan.
The melt is related to Alleva not O. Even if O does great, and i hope he does, Alleva still did a piss poor job on this coaching search. I really want LSU to win a NC next year, but if they do it's because Alleva lucked the frick out. Not because he did his due diligence.

Just because he wasn't everyone's first choice doesn't mean they won't get behind him and pull for him to succeed. Everyone would love that.. O is loved by most Lsu fans but some thought we should hire a more proven coach and keep O on staff. Nothing wrong with that. I for one wanted jimbo or Herman but understand why he was chosen over someone like a fedora who probably isn't a great fit. If O wins the bowl.. Gets kiffen or a proven OC and closes out a top 5 class I think optimism will increase quite a bit
