Brando is triggered
quote:

Back burner? If those are the views of the Bengal Barney’s & Bayou Billy’s it’s not shared by the people that matter that I talk to. This notion that ya can’t hire the Coach at Lafayette!” Crap is just that. @coach_bnapier doesn’t need LSU, but they may need him. Just sayin’ ???????

Maybe I’ll rethink my Napier enthusiasm

My parents used to live next door to Brando. He had a studio in his upstairs and I'd see him up there doing his show.

He was an interesting guy. Nice, but very full of himself. I don't know how plugged in he is these days.

More facts being stated.

ULL not ready for SEC.

Napier a backup choice.

Today is fact day.

I would say the OP is more indicative of it being Captain Obvious Day.

Kinda hope Napier gets it just to watch the Rant melt down for more years to come.

There are still people who didn't support Miles or Orgeron even when winning, they are the exact same people who wouldn't support Napier.

And that’s fine. What our fanbase needs to realize is “falling back” on Napier, Aranda or Tucker is pretty damn good.

LSU doesn't have to rush to keep Sun Belt coaches from "getting away". Sun Belt coaches wait on LSU

Perfect!

This is the worst take on here

Aranda is a below .500 coach, in the weakest P5 conference.

Tucker isn't much better. He is Ed Orgeron. he is being carried by a Heisman candidate in one single year, but has an overall losing record.

Napier was fired by Dabo. That's his only real P5 experience. Saban never hired him as a coordinator, and he has had plenty of opportunities to do so. He plays Les Miles football in the Sunbelt conference, by squeaking by opponents late in the 4th qtr.

None of these names scream instant turnaround.

Not if you cherry pick the data points. The programs are definitely trending up, down or sideways. Based on roster talent and on/off-field performance, you can get an idea of how well the coaching staffs are doing.
