Maybe we should just give up football. It's funny how the positigers are so negative with the thought of having to replace coaches. Why can't yall be "positive".

If we only had to replace A coach i wouldn't so worried. What worries me is the possibility of having to replace half the entire staff.

Like when Saban left? We came through that ok didn't we? I know there isn't any guarantees but LSU is alot more enticing to coaches then it was pre dinardo.

Mullen would be nice but he already turned down the U, no slam dunk that he comes here.

No its not but he would be a slam dunk hire

Mullen + our current coaches (Not crouton of couse) = 3rd Crystal Ball IMO

I think coaches would be knocking down the door to coach here. What makes LSU a great job is it's recruiting bed, passionate fans, Great facilities.

We are loaded for next year. Serious trouble

Look at all you negatigers with no faith in the program to hire a replacemant. Pitiful... just pitiful how negative some of you want to be towards the greatest CFB program over the past 10 years.

Miles is not as great as his followers believe, great man, good recruit does not warrent great coach.

61-17 and 27-1 OOC and most SEC wins in the west and most 10 wins seasons of any SEC school and as many west titles as any coach and as many NC as any school in the west and Top 7 of all schools for winning percentage for the last 6 seasons "does not warrent" the BS some of seem to enjoy throwing out as well.

Please don't tell us what LSU can't do.

There's a lot of coaches, who unlike you understand what good job LSU is in terms of recruiting etc.

I think we'll be okay, fricktard

I agree. We can do better than Miles. I want a 'Football Guy' for a coach, and there are some of those guys out there that would love the chance to coach here. With that being said, Miles can recruit.

Settle?

Muschamp was their first choice.

LSU would probably get their first choice. The 2011, if well coached, can win the NC

I think the 'decline' that everyone talked about when Saban left would actually happen if Miles left.

Why?

Saban is a much better coach than Miles yet Miles was successful.

You serious clark? From the same school that hired the trifecta of Archer Curley and DInardo, along with Brady and Smoke you expect to find a sure winner in a coaching search?

If it aint broke dont fix it and 10-2 aint broke. And its terrible timing to be fixing it.

If Dinardo was hired after Saban I think he would have done the same job Miles did. However if Miles had been hired when Dinardo was hired I don;t think he would have been as successful as Dinardo.

No sane/rational fans want their team to endure the trauma/gamble a coaching change brings when their current coach has had some of the best results in school history and a current 10 win season with a shot at it's 4th Top 10 finish in 6 seasons. imo

I didn't want Nick to leave and I don't want Miles to leave, but chit happens.

We replaced Nick and hardly missed a beat. If we have to replace Miles, so be it.
