Fans will turn their noses up, but anyone who likes what Dan Lanning has done at Oregon should take a good look at Schumann. He learned under Saban and Kirby and was part of title runs at Bama (in a small role, but still there learning) and UGA. It’s more risky, but he has huge upside, has been groomed to run a major program and would come at a reasonable price that would allow us to invest huge in staff and NiL.

I would absolutely take Dillingham over him, but considering how many have pulled their names and how much Drink would cost, I would take Schumann as door number 3. Because of his training under Saban and Smart, I would take him over Sumrall and Golesh, too.
