I would beat the Bejesus out of aTm tomorrow night, head home with the team then disappear from Baton Rouge faster than a pizza at a Weight Watchers convention. He knows he never has and never will fit in here.

Sadly I agree with you. As much as most rantards believe, LSU is not a 'premier' coaching destination. Aside from the in-state talent and lack of rivals stealing recruits, what exactly does Louisiana have to offer?

i would go if i were him.
if were a coach and had played at lsu, i would do anything or put aside any opportunity to coach the tigers.

You just made my point...it's not like Louisiana is Los Angeles, Miami or NY or another college with tons of history, so aside from any alumnus, who would REALLY want to coach here? I'm really thinking of a longterm coach, not 2-3 years then find a better job.

I think Oregon should be moving in there with all the Nike money and their facilities plus their recent success but I completely agree that LSU is a top 10 job maybe even top 5
