Failure on all fronts. Doesn't make sense to do that. Only reason to promote Brick is to bring in O.

This. I don't see how promoting Brick can be seen as anything but a downgrade in the DC position unless we bring in BeBe as well.

Man, that's some kind of disappointment.

Totally against that promotion. How has Haley contributed to this team? Did he develop Anthony Johnson who was probably the best DT in the country in HS? How many sacks we get with our front 4 or at least pressure?

I have no idea what goes on, but I don't want a guy with 0 DC experience running the defense.

It would be a worse outcome than

Proven DC- Haley + O
Proven DC + Haley -O

I think a Haley DC and O DL coach would be outstanding when it comes to recruiting. Now, I'm not sure how good of a DC Haley would be, but the guy is extremely sharp.

If this is the only scenario where O comes to LSU, then I will take it.

I keep asking what else Haley coached. BDP was to coach STs and half the DL. I keep hearing from an LSU source that it is going to be Haley.

Go look at Haleys defenses while he was at Baylor

I still think its pretty unfair to hold his Baylor stint against him. The Bears barely had a functioning athletic department at the time.

I think it's pretty clear that Haley won't be DC at this point.
