Will all you guys that are 100% totally against him stop coming to the home games? I think it is best for you guys to stay away as it would help alleviate the traffic problems after the games. Thank you for your consideration and support of LSU football.

By the end of the season, that might mean an empty stadium. So yea, that would definitely fix the traffic problem.

Did not have enough faith to hope we ran the table and kept the current coach. You would prefer for us to crap the bed so you can get another coach over Orgeron in place. So, don't say you support the team. So, who is your preferred choice for the head coaching position?

Why do you want O to be HC

Wrong. I didn't think Coach O was qualified even if we won out. Losing a game here or there would have had no effect on my opinion. If you think I wanted us to lose a game do you think I'd make a sig bet on the hardest game left on the schedule? Thanks for confirming that you are indeed an idiot.

That's one hell of a straw man you're holding there.

If he wins out I think he gets it. He lost to one of the greatest dynasties ever. If he can bounce back win out the job is his

I'd start with anyone that has a better than .400 winning percentage.

Here's a fun fact for you. If we lost twice as many games with Les Miles at LSU, he'd STILL have a better win percentage than Coach O as a HC. You're telling me we fired that guy for Coach O?

I think he brings fire back into the program. He can recruit as well as Coach Miles, but would step back and allow the OC do his job.

The top two candidates people seem to want are Hermann and Fisher. The guy at Houston, I'm not sure about turning the program over to him with his inexperience as a head coach. Hell, give the job to Tim Rebowe, he has done a good job turning Nicholls around. Coach Fisher, think that bothers me is his handling of the Winston situation. Sort of reminds me of the Briles thing at Baylor. Just an uneasy feeling about the win at all cost.

Look, everyone wants to beat Alabama and Coach Saban. Whether we like it or not, we are back into the same cluster when Coach Bryant was at Alabama. It doesn't matter who we bring in to coach the team, we are not beating those guys as long as he is there. Now, having said that, I think it will take a 1982 type beating to cause Saban to retire like what happened to Bryant.

I don't want coach O to be the head coach at LSU. I absolutely adore the man as a coach and would LOVE for him to have a spot on the staff but there are so many better options for hc that it's lunacy to give him the job.

As far as recruiting goes I don't believe there would be a step off from what O or Miles did with regards to bringing in a Herman or a Jimbo. I believe LSU is seen as a national powerhouse and direct line to the NFL, and the name recruits for itself. I also believe LSU gets 90% of all LA high school talent they want because of the instate factor. I think Jimbo could bring players in from Florida, not that LSU has struggled recruiting Florida, but fisher has that factor. Also an interesting thought is have you ever considered all the great recruits we didn't get with Miles or now the Oregeron style of offense. We missed out on several highly touted QB's most recent being Shea Patterson.

I also think Herman and Jimbo could develop a QB. I believe both implement spread offensive schemes that could really utilize LSU athletes.

O just doesn't have the track record as a HC. He had 2 weeks to prepare for bama and didn't. I love the guy and wish he would stay to assist in recruiting and coach the DL.

But it's time to get young blood in BR and really change things up. Fisher is proven national champion, as well as an additional appearance in the CFP. Herman is a almost a can't miss coach from his success at Ohio state where his system beat bama and his success at Houston (he's working with players all recruited within 30 miles of Houston).

I just don't think O can make the necessary OC hire to override his ability as HC. Art Briles would be the only option that would intrigue me, but saying his name is like saying I voted Trump (which I did)

It's Herman, Jimbo, Fleck, Peterson, for me... I just want to see something new

Seriously?

Pull out a list of current head coaches in the fbs and three quarters are better options that O.

Being able to recruit and delegate to assistants only get you so far. And thinking he will always have elite assistants is asinine. One wrong hire and his whole plan falls apart.
