There is no way Gonzales is going to be coaching QBs. He's never done it in his life.

If Tyke Tolbert were coming on board, an additional change would have to be made to enable LSU to add a QB coach as well. (Possibly, Tolbert coaching TE's as well, which he has done).

There is no room for Tolbert, and the Bills are not the only one revamping their coaching staff. It's likely that Tolbert just finds another NFL job. And it's unlikely that Gonzo gets a chance at OC this year.

How well did it work out last year when we promoted from within to a coordinator spot?

I would like that. Any change at OC would be good change imo.
