Bo has done so well with the expectations placed on Nebraska this year.. preseason NC pick to 4 losses and 4th in his conference..
He lost 3 of his last 4 games this season. No thanks IMO. Talk about unproven.

Corso picked LSU vs. Texas for the national championship in 2002. Ironically we played them in the Cotton Bowl instead. Didn't we lose four games in the regular season that year?

Make Wilson Recruiting Coord.
Keep Joe Rob, Gonzales, Haley, and Cooper.
Let his brother be DC and LB's coach.
Promote Ben Wilkerson to OL coach and let him recruit East TX.
Carl coaches DL at Neb. so Haley could be out, but Carl did play LB at Columbia for two seasons.
Would just need a good OC and QB coach who could bring in the talent and develop it.

Pellini is a psychopath and out of control bully who will destroy our recruiting with his vicious berating of players. - NE almost fired him, and every coach would play the highlight of him mauling Martinez. Bad hire. Can do better.

Yea, Saban only built the program that way.
The difference is you have 3 star players like Hester playing like a 5 star player as opposed to 5 star players, playing like 3 star prima donnas.
I'll take the coach that lights a fire under the players asses instead of the players coach we have type we have now. You can recruit great 5 star players all day long and watch them lose games every year because they arent hard enough or disciplined enoughed.

That's funny. He has improved Nebraska's recruiting ranking every year since he has been there. This years class is pretty impressive and it's not like Nebraska is a recruiting hot bed when compared to Louisiana.

Yeah, Patrick Peterson really let us down. Hester didn't do shite under Saban, btw. He is a Miles creation through and through.
Pelini has proven nothing since he got to Nebraska.. except that he isn't good when expectations are placed on him. We'd be better off with most coaches at the helm. He would be an awful hire.

Wouldn't go so far as to call him a psychopath, but he sure as hell has displayed highly questionable behavior, he obviously has some serious self control/anger management issues that keep coming to the fore when things become challenging. Plus his D's at LSU did no better than Chavis' vs spread/passing teams. I would prefer someone else.
Mullen would kick arse with his familiarity with recruiting the SE, offensive knowledge, and has done what the coach before him proved totally incapable of at a traditional weak sister SEC institution.
