I wonder why the media is not at LSU every day asking him if he is going to Michigan like they were in Miami asking Nick about the Alabama job?

Its just another part of the NCAA conspiracy against Bammer.

Tubby said, "the only way I'm leaving Oxford is in a pine box".

Saban said, "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach".

Which one is worse and which one got way more attention?

They are about equal. I think Tubby's comments got a lot of attention, and I see LSU fans quote that every year around the time of the Auburn game. You're probably asking the wrong crowd to be objective about the WVMD and his "comments", *cough* bald-faced-liar *cough*.

Bamascoop, the reason ESPN crucified you is because it was the worst coaching search in the history of the SEC?

Rumors, leaks from the Athletic Department, Rich Rodriguez, Shula, the Boosters, it was ugly, greedy, and Saban was the face of it.

Michigan quite frankly is too classy for that. You get a minor head fake to the Ferentz camp that shows up on a few blogs, enough to buy Miles some time to finish the season professionally.

because Miles has been slightly smarter than Saban in this case - and refused to confirm or deny

Also Baton Rouge is not the major city that Miami is... fewer press there to apply pressure means it's easier to avoid questions you don't want to answer

What does these two have in common?
Their agent. He is the one that tips the media. Miles has an agent that seems to be tight lipped to the media. Why do you think these 2 coaches names come up for every job that is vacant? If I were AD, I wouldn't even interview one of his clients.
