TBL - I don't know who you are but I agree you have been very careful with your language. If you don't have real connections, you've shown an ability to compile fairly accurate, contemporaneous information and accurately assess what appears to be going on. You haven't said that you are a member of the BOSs or some other administrator. There are various levels of reliability in the information that goes on to TigerDroppings and one needs to be careful and learn how to filter the garbage from the good faith misunderstandings to the information that is contemporaneous and largely accurate. If you are guessing or just compiling information from various sources and presenting it authoritatively, I've found your stuff to be much more reliable than most of the garbage on here.

There is a great temptation for everyone to read what one wants to read or believe what one wants to believe. Those that are claiming you backtracked or are lying, in my opinion, fall into that camp. They wanted to believe Gilbert was interviewed when all you said was there was interest and he would be a candidate broadly accepted by all.

I haven't seen where you stated what your "source" is. Literally a "source" could be anything.

I've come to the conclusion that you either have access to at least a little more information than the average guy or you are able to pull of a fairly sophisticated, small-time disinformation campaign.

I don't see enough evidence yet to conclude it is the latter. Therefore, for now, I welcome your updates.

There are no lies. You carefully stated what you heard and how you thought this would play out. Personally I’m grateful for your posts since I don’t live in Louisiana and don’t have a pulse of what’s going on.

People made fun of the Tennessee fans for their protests, and A&M for the money they are dishing out, but they are trying to win. We wanted Miles out because we said we wanted to win. We hire O with the promises of hiring the best. We are getting less than the best. We were promised by our coach he learned from his past, but doesn’t seem like he has. In typical Louisiana fashion we were sold a lot of empty promises. It’s another installment of the good ole boy club. Unlike Tennessee our fans will not organize and demand better, so who should be laughing?
