I thought Randy Edsall was hired as Maryland's HC??? Now..

Why is ESPN reporting that Maryland is interviewing Mark Whipple for the HC position that I thought was already filled?
Does anyone know why they would being still interviewing when there was supposed to be no vacancy for that position?
Oh wait, it WAS ESPN. I forgot my bad.
But it really is confusing because there on so many threads about Crowton to be interviewing for the OC position at Maryland.
Anyone?

maybe a typo? I thought I read that Whipple was a top candidate to replace Edsall at UConn.

did anyone figure this out...it is clear that ESPN is saying Whipple interview for HC...I thought Uconn=-Edsall was done deal days ago?!?

Edsall was the coach at UCONN, he is now the coach at Maryland. Whipple is interviewing for UCONN job or is favorite for UCONN job.

I figured it out now...It was a misprint in ESPN's original story this afternoon.

Nope just read the one from this afternoon and it clearly says Whipple in final talks w/ UCONN, I think it was just misread, it's okay we won't bash you too hard, happens to the best of us.
Besides UCONN and Maryland, what's the difference? Both basketball schools that will never be relevant to an LSU football fan again after Maryland takes Crowton (let's hope).
