I'm all for it. I'm tired of our defenses being an embarrassment and Aranda would find the right guy to run his offense. I don't care if it would be considered a "splash", I think it's the smart move.

Aranda is a good choice. Maybe not the best, but a good one. Tucker could get the AD and Prez fired.

I'd just be concerned with recruiting. I don't know how Aranda would fare going up against Saban, Jimbo, Kiffin, Kirby, Riely, and Sark for the top recruits each year.

How often do coaches leave after not taking the available HC job at the school got to another school to be an HC and then go back to initial said school…
